WCF Seeks Input From Charitable Organizations for GrantMaking

The Westlock Community Foundation is launching a survey for charitable and not-for-profit organizations to have their say on the development of the Foundation’s granting processes and policies. 

As a pillar of support and advocacy for the community’s well-being, we are committed to fostering positive change and empowering local initiatives that create a lasting impact. In pursuit of our mission, we want to ensure our granting process is designed to best serve the diverse needs of our community.

Our goal is to create a granting process that is transparent, accessible, and empowering for all organizations. This is also known as Participatory Grant-making.  Your perspectives on what works well and what could be improved in your experiences with other granting organizations, will enable us to design a more effective and efficient system, thereby maximizing the impact of the grants we provide.

The Westlock Community Foundation is dedicated to promoting inclusivity and diversity, and we strongly believe in the power of collaboration. This survey aims to give every organization a voice, irrespective of size or focus. We want to understand your specific requirements, the areas where you seek assistance, and how we can facilitate your efforts to create a thriving and sustainable community.
