Building Community Together

The Westlock Community Foundation is more than a source for dollars.  Our intent  is to inspire and empower people to invest in and build our community.  We believe that we can help establish awareness and understanding of the important role that everyone plays. We envision giving a voice to all members of the community and challenge everyone to participate in something bigger than ourselves.

Westlock has always had a reputation for "punching above our weight"  - our vision is to build on this legacy. Resilient Communities are Strong Communities. Investing and supporting all facets of community and civic life is at the core of who we are. An ongoing community assessment will provide a baseline from which to evaluate challenges and strengths to develop a strategic approach for our future.  The Westlock Community Foundation will build capacity by increasing capabilities, resources and collaborating with local organizations.  The Foundation will provide an avenue to enhance and amplify the collective efforts and ideas of our community and be a resource for funding, skills and information.
